    Mrs. A.G. Murray
After an illness of several months, Mrs. Murray, wife o f Mr. A.G. Murray, K.C. died on Tuesday night, March 21st , at her home in Fort Frances. Mrs. Murray was the daughte r of Charles Alfred Durand, barrister, and was born in Gal t in 1861. In 1889 she and Mr. Murray were united in marria ge. Besides her husband, the deceased leaves a family of fo ur daughters and two sons to mourn her loss, Mrs. Colin Rus sel, the Misses Edgeworth, Frances and Catherine, and A. Du rand Murray of Montreal, and Wilfred Douglas Murray at Mani toulin Island. One other son, Lieut. Harold Murray sleeps i n Flanders having paid the supreme sacrifice during the Gre at War.
Mrs. Murray will be greatly missed in many social circles -as a member of the Daughters of the Empire, the Women's In stitute, and a life member of the Red Cross. Kind to thos e in poorer circumstances she will be remembered with grati tude by many a family. She was a member of Knox Presbyteria n church and a life member of the Women's Missionary Societ y. To every good cause she willingly gave her support.
The sympathy of the whole town goes out to Mr. Murray an d the bereaved family in the loss of one who was an exempla ry wife and mother, a patient, cheerful sufferer, and a sin cere Christian. The funeral was held from Knox church on Ma rch 23rd.
