Bessie E. Ford funeral Saturday
Funeral services for Bessie Edna Ford, 82, West Plains, will be held at 10:30 am Saturday in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home of West Plains.
Mrs. Ford died at 10:02 pm Wednesday in St. John?s Hospital in Springfield. She was born July 25, 1895, in Howell County, in Howell County, the daughter of the late George W. and Allie Belle Ales Adams.
She had spent her entire life in this area and was married here in 1911 to W.B. Ford, who preceded her in death in 1967. She had been a long-time member of the Elk Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church at West Plains.
Survivors include seven children,

Mrs. Hugh (Bernice) Richards, S. Chicago Heights, IL;
Mrs. Harold (Ruby) Crites, Livonia, Mich;

Mrs. Ervin (Lorene) Melching, Bonita Springs, Fla;
Henry Ford, West Plains;
seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 3 gg-granchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband, a daughter and four sisters.
Interment will be beside her husband in Jolliff Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home of West Plains.
