The original church records from the Trinity Reformed Church state the births of Ebenezar Benson and siblings to Johannes Lindesmith and Lusetta (Mumenthaler), parents, as godparents the Reverend as A. Selle
The front page says (short version) that Rev EWJ Lindesmith took these records to Cleveland and had them newly bound and returned them to the Reformed Trinity Church on West-Fork Columbiana Co. Ohio.
This binder is in the Lepper Library, Lisbon Ohio.
May 31, 1899 Eb bought land in the SE corner of Douglas Co, Mo., north of Dora in the Brushy Creek community - three plots in Sec 26
SESW, NESE, N 1/2 SW
This looks like it was off of Hwy 181, south of hwy 14. Just 1/2 mile south of Bethany church, go west on CR 181-354 for 1/2 mile, then turn south when 354 goes north. It should be just south of that intersection.
The 1900 census says he was born in Jan. 1845.
