    "Lola Willard, daughter of the late William Cowens and Mary Elizabeth Jolliff Cowens, was born Dec. 16, 1886 in Oregon Co, Mo. and departed this life June 12, 1980 at the West Plains memorial Hospital at the age of 97 years. She was united in marriage June 5, 1901 at Rover, Mo to William Daniel Willard, who preceded her in death in 1970. She is survived by 1 son, Alva Willard of Koshkonong, Mo; 1 daughter, Mrs. Tilda Moore of Thayer, Mo; 1 brother, Elijah M. Cowens of Thomasville, Mo; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Her husband, her parents, 1 brother, and 1 sister preceded her in death. She was a Methodist. Funeral services were held Sun, June 15 at the Shiloh Baptist Church at rover with Rev. Duane Flood officiating. Interment in Jolliff Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home of West Plains."

    "Lola Willard funeral Sunday --
    Funeral services for Lola Willard, 93, West Plains, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Duane Flood officiating.
    Mrs. Willard died at 4:39 p.m. Thursday in the West Plains Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 16, 1886, in Oregon County, the daughter of the late William and Mary Elizabeth Jolliff Cowens.
    She was married Junhe 5, 1901, at Rover to William Daniel Willard, who preceded her in death Feb. 27, 1970, Mrs. Willard was a member of the Methodist Church.
    Survivors (same as obit above)
    She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother, Walter D. Cowens, and one sister, Alice Humphrey.
    The family will receive friends from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday in the Carter Chapel at West Plains.
    Burial will be in Jolliff Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home of West Plains."
