Evans, 61, prominent resident of this community who died at his home, on e mile southwest of coffeen Sunday morning were conducted at eh Free mehtodist church here a 1:30 p.m. today with Rev. J.G. Yech officiating. burial was made in the Donnellson Cemetery. Deceased was a son of Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Evans, R., now deceased, and was born in Missouri. He was reared in Bond County and resided near Greenville, Sorento, and Mulberry Grove. On Dec. 25, 1890 he married Miss Nora ellen Smith who survives him. He also leaves two sons, Bryan and Abbie Evans of Mulberry Grove; one daughter, Mrs. Lester Robson, Coffeen; two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Smith, whose address is unknown; and five grandchildren. His death was caused from a stroke of paralysis suffered four weeks ago. He was a member of the M. E. Church at Donnellson. He has resided int he vicinity for 12 years. Quality: 1
