Mason Hall, on the Obion-Gibson County line in NW TN, 25 miles south of the MS River crossing at Hickman KY, was a wagon stop on the early major migration route west in the early 1800s. The community grew from an earlier settlement known as Tysonville in Gibson Co. This file records it's first settlers. It is also the original and largest record of the descendants my g-g-g-grandfather Thomas Jenkins b 1774 in NC and died in MO. Others in our family and in the local area are recorded.
