W. R. Robinett Dies Suddenly Sunday Night
William Bynum Robinett, Longwood Drive, Aiken, died in the Aiken County Hospital Sunday night following an illness of only one hour at the age of 42. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Malcolm P. Nodine officiating. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Conway, Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Mr. Robinett was born in Georgetown, a son of Mrs. Annie Elizabeth Harrelson Robinett and the late Bynum Ward Robinett. He formerly lived in Conway and was a graduate of Clemson University. He Had lived in Aiken since April 1955 and was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was a shift supervisor wit hthe duPont Co. at the Savannah River Plant and was a veteran of World War II. Friends may call at the George Funeral Home or at the residence. Following the funeral service in Aiken the body will be taken to the Goldfinch Funeral Home in Conway to await the interment hour. Surving are his wife, Mrs. Marion Lawter Robinett; moher Mrs. Annie S. Robinett, Aiken; one daughter, Miss Sharon Dale Robinett, Aiken; one son, Gregory Lynn Robinett, Aiken; one brother, Harold W. Robinett Columbia. Pallbearers will be Arthur L. Coogler, James E. Harrelson, Cecil M. Smith, Charles Redmond, A. J. Rutland, W. Lee Pope Jr., Derril Murphy, John C. Cureton. Honorary pallbearers C. T. Axelberg, George H. Hair, Charles G. Simons, Richard N. Willheit, J. Milton Blount, J. O. Barrow, James A. Bodie, and T. V. Carson
