Note: In the name of God Almighty, the 13th day of June, in the year of our Lord Christ 1760, I, Isaac Germond, of Crom Elbow, precinct of Dutchess County, and province of New York, yeoman, being in health of body and of sound and desposing mind, memory and understanding, thanks be given to Almighty God for the same, calling to mind the certainty of death, I give and bequeath
Note: unto my son Isaac Germond, the sum of 20 shillings to him and his heirs and assigns forever.
Note: Item I give and bequeath unto my son John Germond the sum of ten shillings to him and his heirs and assigns forever, besides what I have already given them.
Note: Item I give devise and bequeath unto my son James Germond
Note: all that messuage tract or piece of land, house, barn, orchard, whatever, together with all and singular other the premise and appurtenances thereunto belong, where ever situate, lying and being in Crum elbo (sic) precinct, in Dutchess Co., aforesaid, in the patent called the lower Nine Partners, which said messuage, tract or piece of land aforementioned is what I now live on
Note: and containing 364 acres more or less, and is bounded north by Ephram Mills and Joshua Chapian's land, south by Haff's land, east by Joseph Clapp's, and wes tby other land of the Nine Partner's, the said James Germond to have and to hold possession and to enjoy the said messuage tract or piece of land aforesaid to him and his heirs and assigns forever.
Note: Item I give, devise and bequeath unto my son John Germond, all my rights and titles of land that I have or hereafter may have, o rclaim to the land in dispute between Poughkeepsie and the lower Nine Partners, patent in the county aforesaid, to him, his heirs and assigns forever.
Note: Item I give, devise and bequeath unto my grandson Isaac Germond, son of Isaac Germond, the right and title to the land that I now have, or have hereafter have, over the fresh creek in the said division made in the patent aforementioned to him, his heirs and assigns forever.
Note: Item I give devise and bequeath my right and title to the undivided land that I now have, or may at any time hereafter become due to me in the pattent (sic) called the Lower Nine Partners in the county aforesaid, unto my four sons Isaac, Peter, John and James, equally to be divided between them and their heirs and assigns forever. I give them and bequeath all my wearing clothes, together with all my printed books unto my four sons, Isaac, Peter, John and James Germond, equally to be divided between them and their heirs and assigns forever.
Note: Item I give and bequeath unto my son James Germond all the remainder and residue of my movable estate that is not herein already given or bequeathed to him and his heirs and assigns forever.
Note: Item I ordain my son James Germond executor of this my last will and testament, disomning sic) all other by me heretofore made, and confirm this to be my last will and testament.
Note: In vertue (sic) whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above mentioned.
