Beverly Bursey, 76, died at her home. She was born in Montgomery, AL.

She worked several jobs throughout her life, but primarily at the Marriott, where she was promoted to the main office, and was seamstress for the Broadway plays presented at the Palm Beach Auditorium. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene of Lake Worth, the Woman's Club and a volunteer for the Salvation Army.

Survivors include her children, Linda Sheffield, Guy Ashworth, Joseph Ashworth, Steven Ashworth, Marian Loyed, Donna Bursey, Billy Bursey, Carolyn Rudd, Tina Ashworth and Laura Blassberg; sister, Carolyn Lusk; and brother, Fred Evans.

She was preceded in death by her son, James Bursey III; and brothers, Larmar and Clarence "Bo" Evans.

SERVICES: The funeral was June 3. Burial was at Lake Worth Memory Gardens in Lake Worth. Arrangements were by All County Funeral Home & Crematory, Lake Worth Chapel.
