Note: Old Time Citizen Called Merrit Pepper Manger of the Chicago Telephone Co. at Joliet, was in Plano, Tuesday afternoon bringing the sad news that his mother, Mrs. Ellen Minerva Hunt Pepper, a much respected and old time citizen of Plano, had passed away that morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James Matter in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The remains will be brought to Bristol her old home Thursday for burial in the Bristol Cemetery, at one o'clock, where short services will be held. Mrs. Pepper was a sister of the late Graham Hunt of Bristol and of Mrs. Lewis Steward of Plano. Mrs. Pepper was an honored member of the Plano W. R. O. - Kendall County Record (ILLINOIS), October 6, 1920 (Wednesday)
