Note: Mrs. Lillian K. Sears of Plano Was Laid to Rest Sunday
Plano - Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian K. Sears were held Sunday afternoon at the Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dr. R. E. Simms officiating. Clifford Ramey was soloist and Miss Frances Thurow the organist. Burial was in the Plano Cemetery.
Lillian Kate Faxon, daughter of Edgar and Ida Cherry Faxon, was born in Amboy, December 22, 1880, and passed away Wednesday, August 13, at the Woodward Hospital in Sandwich after serveral years illness.
She is survived by three sons, Judge Rober J. Sears and Gerald Sears, both of Plano, and Dr. Kenneth Sears of Lexington, Kentucky; one brother, Kenneth Faxon of Brownsville, Texas and five grandchildren. Her husband, Delbert J. Sears and a son Howard Edgar preceded her in death.
Mrs. Sears was a member of the Methodist church, the Plano Women's Club and thje past matron club of the Eastern Star of which she was a fifty years charter member.
