Edward H. Fairbank
Edward H. Fairbank died Tuesday, April 9, 2002, at West Village Manor in Columbia. He was 87.
Mr. Fairbank was born Oct. 26, 1914, in West Chicago, Ill., to Allen Frank and Florance Norris Fairbank.
He was a partner in an architectural firm in Geneva, Ill., for 35 years, and he moved to Columbia from Alton, Ill., in 1992.
Mr. Fairbank is survived by three sons, Donn K. Fairbank of Naperville, Ill., Paul D. Fairbank of St. Louis and Tod N. Fairbank of Aurora, Ill.; five daughters, Carolyn Garbacz of Phoenix, Ariz., Nancy Dorsey of St. Charles, Ill., Robin Purcell of Arlington, Mass., and Anafred Fessler and Lois Walker, both of Columbia; one sister, Marjorie Ryan of Valley Forge, Pa.; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
One brother died earlier.
Services will be at a later date in West Chicago, Ill.
