    Lewis S. "Pete" Pytlewski, age 80, of Lemont, passed away September 3, 2007. Born in Lemont, a lifelong resident. Veteran of WWII and the Korean War, serving with the U.S. Navy.
    Survived by his wife, Joan (nee Kazich) Pytlewski of Lemont; two sons, James (Laura) Pytlewski of Homer Glen and Kenneth Pytlewski of Oakland, CA; two grandsons, Michael and Matthew Pytlewski; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    Preceded in death by five brothers, Victor, John, Thomas, Walter, and Casmier; and four sisters, Frances, Regina, Louise, and Josephine.
    Visitation Thursday, September 6, 2007, 3-8 p.m. at the Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C., 108 Illinois St., Lemont. Funeral services Friday, September 7, 2007, 9:30 a.m. to SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, Lemont, for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment SS. Cyril & Methodius Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 225 N. Michigan Ave. Suite 1210, Chicago, IL 60601. Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C.
