Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 with his loving wife and daughter by his side, his buddy "Loule" nearby and surrounded by his cherished family.
Survived by his devoted wife of 32 years, Kathleen Cummings (nee Rogers); his loving and precious daughter, Brittany; his mother, Rosemary Cummings; brothers and sisters, Jeanette (Larry) Floyd, Mary Ann (Kevin) Cronin, Kevin and Laura (Louis Flori) Cummings; father and mother-in-law, Jack and Ann Rogers; brother and sisters-in-law Debbie (John) Knowski, John (Mary) Rogers, Beccie (Matt) Ramuta, Suzy (David) Bokoski. Also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
Preceded in death by his father, Eugene; sister, Maureen Cummings; and nephew Michael Floyd.
Jim worked at Hewlett-Packard for over 20 years. Avid pool player, fisherman and euchre player. Member of the Mittelwest German Shepherd Training Program. Jim was an outstanding cook who enjoyed cooking for family and friends. Jim was an amazing father, a loving husband; he was the most honest, kind and gentle man; he can never be replaced. Jim will be remembered by all who knew him, especially for his smile and 'contagious' laugh.

From where services will be held on Monday, January 26, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. to St. Jude Church in Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-7 p.m.
