    Age 77. Passed away Thursday, November 13, 1997 at his home in Shorewood. Born May 2, 1920 in Blue Island, IL to the late Carmen and Emma (Klotz) Castello.
    Survived by his dear wife Loretta (nee Johnson) and seven children, Bill (Sandy) Castello of IN, Judy (Charlie) Rose of IN, Diane (Steve) Bailey of West Frankfort, David Castello of Wilmington, Pamela (Don) Birkey of Channahon, Valerie (John) Davis of GA, and Vincent Castello of Shorewood; ten grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; many brothers and sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
    A retired employee of 27 years with Caterpillar Tractor Co. of Joliet.
    Funeral services will be Monday, November 17, 1997 at 10:00 a.m. at the Westwood Memorial Chapel with Rev. Eric Livingston officiating.
    Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation on Sunday, November 16, 1997 from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m. GRANT-TAPELLA-FREITAG WESTWOOD MEMORIAL CHAPEL Jefferson St. at Essington Rd. 815-725-0100
