Mildred Foersterling, 92, a 28-year resident of Oak Park, died Oct. 30 in The Woodbine Nursing Home, Oak Park.
Miss Foersterling was born Dec. 30, 1904 in Dwight, Ill., to Anna, nee Simantel, and Carl Foersterling. She attended Thorpe School in Dwight.
Miss Foersterling was a 36-year resident of Chicago prior to moving to Oak Park. She worked as a credit manager at Dennisen Manufacturing Company prior to her retirement.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and the Nineteenth Century Woman's Club in Oak Park.
Miss Foersterling is survived by her sister, Helen (Evan) Sexauer; five nieces; she was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
Visitation was held Nov. 2 with funeral services conducted Nov. 3 in Drechsler-Brown Funeral Home, Oak Park.
Interment was in Goodfarm Cemetery, Dwight, Ill.
Memorials were suggested for the American Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
