Phyllis Jean Bee, 72, of Aurora passed away on Monday, November 5, 2007 at her home after a several year battle with Alzheimer's. Phyllis was born November 20, 1934 in Batavia.
Phyllis grew up in Aurora. She was united in marriage to her loving husband of 53 years, Manny Bee in 1954. She has now gone to see him in a better place and she will recognize him, and Manny will be so happy. Phyllis loved to talk to and care for people. She was employed at Boiltex, Co., Kmart and Colonial Drug Store. She was a long time member of the Irish Club.
Survivors include her son, Steve (Joan) Bee of Aurora. Phyllis was a loving grandmother of Stevie Bee of Aurora and Rian (Deandrea) Bee of Hoffman Estates. Also surviving are her brothers, Dennis (Linda) Stone of Aurora and Ed (Beth) Stone of Phoenix, AZ and her nephew, Scott Stone of Aurora.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Manny on February 12, 2007; her parents, Reginold Stark and Sara Stone Welch; and her stepfather, Harold Stone.
A private graveside service will take place at Lincoln Memorial Park. There will be no visitation. Memorial donations may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
