Margaret Ann Stump
Margaret Ann Coons Otto Stump, 76, died Jan. 14, 2003, at West Park Hospital following a battle with cancer.
She was born Oct. 14, 1926, in Basin to John Arlan and Lillian Anderson Coons. After her father died, her mother married Dan Cropsey.
Mrs. Stump married John Augustus Otto of Wapello, Iowa, and later Harold Stump of Cody. Both men preceded her in death.
She loved Wyoming, especially Cody Country. She worked for Husky Oil Co. and the government.
She was a past Worthy Matron of Eastern Star, a member of Daughters of the Nile, B.P.O. Does, the Episcopal Church, and auxiliaries of the VFW, Eagles, American Legion.
She enjoyed butterflies, giving out See's candy and her famous nut and cracker mix, and staying in touch with her friends and family.
She is survived by her son John (Glenda) Otto of Delta, Utah, grandson Kevin Otto of Ann Arbor, Mich., and granddaughter Gretchen Otto of Fort Collins, Colo. Among other relatives are Don and Opal McGuffey of Cody and Mary Elizabeth House of Greybull.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday at Ballard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at the Episcopal Church at 10 a.m. Saturday. Graveside services will follow at Riverside Cemetery, where she will be buried next to Mr. Stump.
