Note: In the name of god Amen I Henry Aldt of Shrewsbury Township in the County of York and State of Pennsylvania Being, advanced in age yet of Sound mind memory and understanding (blessed be god for the Same) but considering the uncertaintly of this transitory life and being desirous to Settle my worldly affairs and thereby be the better prepared to Leave this world Do make and publish this my last will and Testament in manner and form following to wit principally and first of all I commit my Immortal Sould into the hands of god who gave it and my body to the Earth to be buried in a decent & Christian like manner at the discretion of my Executors herein after named and as to such worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased god to bless me in this life I give and dispose of the Same in the following manner to wit After payment of my Just debts and funeral Expences I give devise and bequeath unto my Children Valentine Aldt Philip Aldt, John Aldt, Jacob Aldt and Frederick Aldt all that plantation and tract of land Situate in Shrewsbury Townships and York Townships marked and known on a plot by the number one Containing about one hundred and thirty acres be the Same more or less also a tract of land Containing about twenty Seven acres to be devided amongst them Share and Share alike, Item I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Christina one Cow of her own choice one Bed and bed Stead, one Spinning wheel and one Chest. I further will and bequeath unto my beloved wife Christina and to her Children. Namely Lewis Aldt, Henry Aldt Christina Aldt and Elizabeth Aldt the residue of my plantation Number two Situate in Shrewsbury, and York Towwnships aforesaid Containg about one hundred and Six acres be the Same more or less I further will and bequeath unto my said wife Christina and her Heirs namely Lewis, Henry, Christina and Elizabeth Aldt a Small peice of wood land marked by the Number three Containing about ten acres to be the Same more or less, to be equally devided Share and Share alike. It is further my will that in Case my said wife Should marry again after my decease that then and in such Case my said wifes Share being the one fifth part of the two last mentioned pieces of land Shall be equally devided amongst the aforesaid Children Namely Lewis, Henry, Christina and Elizabeth Share and Share alike, I also will that all my personal Estate Shall be Sold after my decease and the monies therefrom arising Shall be devided Share and Share alike amongst my nine Children and my wife Christina. Item it is further my will that all the Bonds and Notes and Book Accounts due me by my Children Shall bear no Interest only the principal Shall be deducted from their Shares of the personal Estate Item it is further my will that in Case any of my wifes said Children Should marry and would wish to live in the house on said land that then the said Children are to repair the house side of the turnpike so that my said wife Can live in it, And lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint my trusty and well beloved friends Peter Fyser and Michael Hess Executors of this my last will and Testament And I do hereby revoke, disanull and make void all other and former Wills by be heretofore made. ratifying and holding this for and as my last will and Testament IN WITNESS hereof I the said Henry Aldt have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this twenty forth day of August in the Year of our lord one thousand Eight hundred and Sixteen
