Note: Stonewall J. Little, 74, Died At Local Hospital Last Saturday Afternoon --
Stonewall Jackson Little, 74, died at the Lincoln County Hospital last Saturday afternoon after a short illness.
Mr. Little was a prominent farmer of the Seventh District. He was a son of the late Benjamin and Emma Oldham Little and was born and reared in Lincoln County. He was a member of the Beech Grove Methodist Church, and a director of the Farmers Burley Tobacco Warehouse Company.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Higgins Funeral Home by the Rev. A. C. Stark and R. A. Largen, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Little is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hallie Stewart Little; one daughter, Mrs. Raymond Capley; one granddaughter, Mrs. David Lane of Nashville; one great-granddaughter, Pamela Joyce Swing, also of Nashville, and one brother, Leonard Little of Washington, D. C.
