ADRIAN, Ga., Nov. 15.— G. L. Mason, 65, a citizen of Adrian for over thirty years, died at his home here Sunday after a lingering illness.

Mr. Mason was born and reared at Harrison, in Washington County, the son of Dr. George Mason and Mrs. Mary Smith Mason. Funeral services were held from the Baptist Church Monday afternoon with Rev. Thurman S. Spell and Rev. L. C. Walker officiating.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Ancil Anderson and Mrs. Brooks Dawson, of Savannah, and Mrs. Scott S. Fitzgerald, of Winston-Salem, N. C.; nine sons, Leonard, Jim and Willie Mason, of Swainsboro; Lorin, Carlton and Ed Mason, of Gastonia, N. C.; G. L. Mason, Jr., of LaGrange; George Mason, of Jacksonville, Fla.; and Frank Mason, of Baxley. Twenty-five grandchildren also survive. Two sisters, Mrs. Tom Lewis of Swainsboro, and Mrs. Mamie Shearouse of Atlanta; four brothers, Gordon and Cliff Mason, of Swainsboro, and Tommie and Willie Bridges, of Atlanta.
