Additions & corrections welcome, especially now that autosomal DNA results allow me to correct and refine my work. I am not related to and am not a chief compiler of every family in this database. Although the majority of the labor reflected here is my own, I sometimes borrowed from others, especially on associates of my families whom I searched long ago. Where I have mistakenly not credited another researcher, I would appreciate a contact so that I can improve this.

Don't know what happened to Mahlon Coleman, but there certainly is no probate
on him in NJ. He did sell property to his brothers in the earliest 1800s and
does not appear in NJ records again. It is possible that he migrated,
as there is a later Mahlon Coleman in the LDS records. This younger Mahlon
would be of an age to be a g'son; his family shows a VA (area that is now WV)
to KY migration...consistent with other NJ families.
