    Cecil W.K. Boyce, 89, of Virginia Beach, died Aug. 22, 2001.

    Born in Edenton, N.C., he was the widower of Lillie Lorraine Boyce and retired after 35 years from Anheuser-Busch as a warehouse manager. Mr. Boyce was a Baptist, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the recipient of a Purple Heart.

    Survivors include two daughters, Linda Boyce Malone of Norfolk and Elizabeth Kanary of Newbern, N.C.; a son, Cecil W.K. Boyce Jr. of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Mary Smith and Josephine Smith, both of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

    A funeral will be held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by Chaplin Joe Paluszak with burial in Rosewood Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
