    FORT WORTH - Mary Frances Owens, a retired bookkeeper for Kelly-Moore Paint in Waco, died Tuesday at a Fort Worth hospital from Lou Gehrig's disease. She was 61.

    Arrangements are pending at Corley Funeral Home in Corsicana.

    Mrs. Owens was born in Corsicana and had lived there most of her life before moving to Fort Worth. She was a member of South Hills Baptist Church.

    The family suggests that memorials be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association for research of Lou Gehrig's disease.

    Survivors: Husband of 43 years, Jerrel Owens of Fort Worth; son, Jerry Owens of Everman; daughter, Jeanne Massey of Fort Worth; mother, Clara Allred of Corsicana; four brothers; one sister; and three grandchildren.
