KERSHAW - Mr. Garland Eugene Bolton, 57, of 21 Oak Drive, died Monday, November 16, 1998 at the Baptist Medical Center, Columbia. He was born May 31, 1941, in Newburgh, Indiana, a son of Charles and Josphine ''Alice'' Youkum Bolton. Mr. Bolton was a member of the Abney Baptist Church and was a truck driver.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 20, 1998 at 11 a.m. from the Abney Baptist Church by the Rev. Mendle Baker.
Mr. Bolton is survived by seven sons, Mr. Thomas Michael Bolton of Elgin, SC, Mr. Timothy Patrick Bolton of Newburgh, IN, Mr. Scott Allen Bolton of Boonville, IN, Mr. Troy Dewayne Bolton of New Harmond, IN, Mr. Charles Gilbert Bolton, of Kershaw, Mr. Johnny Scott Aragon, and Mr. Joseph Morris Aragon, both of Winter Haven, FL; two daughters, Miss. Kelli Ann Bolton of Boonville, IN and Mrs. Dena Louise Baker of East lake, OH; his parents, Charles Bolton and Josephine 'Alice'' Bolton of Newburgh, IN; a brother, Mr. Larry Wayne Bolton of Boonville, IN; a sister, Mrs. Joann Collier of Lexington, SC; twelve grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday, November 19, 1998 from 7-9 p.m. from the Cauthen Funeral Home Kershaw Chapel, and other times from the home, 21 Oak Drive, Kershaw, SC 29067.

Garland E. Bolton, 57, formerly of Newburgh, died Monday at Columbia Cancer Center in Kershaw, S.C.
He was a truck driver.
Surviving are his wife, Dianne; a daughter, Kelli Ann Bolton of Boonville; a stepdaughter, Dania Gardner; five sons, Thomas of Elgin, S.C., Timothy of Evansville, Troy of Mount Vernon, Ind., Scott of Boonville and Charles "Chip" of Kershaw; two stepsons, Johnny and Jay Gardner; his parents, Charles and Alice Bolton of Newburgh; a sister, Jo Ann Collier of Lexington, S.C.; a brother, Larry of Boonville; five grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Abney Baptist Church in Kershaw, S.C., with burial in the church cemetery.

Mr. Bolton died Monday. Born in Newburgh, Ind., he was a son of Charles and Alice Youkum Bolton. He was a member of Abney Baptist Church.
