    EVANSVILLE - Katherine Long, 79, of Evansville died Tuesday, July 17, 2001, at Regina Continuing Care Center from heart failure. The Utica native was a member of Nativity Catholic Church. Her husband, Bernard E. Long, died April 2, 1984.

    Survivors include five sons, Mark Long of Paducah, Michael Long and Donald Long, both of Newburgh, Ind., David Long of Evansville and Larry Bratcher of Wisconsin; 12 grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Borders of McDermitt, Ohio.

    Services are at 11 a.m. today at Nativity Catholic Church in Evansville. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Evansville. Alexander Funeral Homes&Cemeteries in Evansville is in charge of arrangements.
