    Lily R. Bolton Young, 83, of 1141 Greenbriar Road, Utica, died Tuesday, July 24, 2001, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Daviess County native was a homemaker, member of Utica Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking. She had been director for Women's Missionary Union, was nursery coordinator at the church and was active in Church Shut-In ministries.

    Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Marvin O. Young; two sons, Phillip B. Young of New Albany, Ind., and Marvin D. Young of Columbia, S.C.; a daughter, Bonnie Y. Rhoads of Utica; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

    Services are at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home chapel. Entombment will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Utica Baptist Church, P.O. Box 8, Utica, KY 42376
