    FORT WORTH - Edna Faye Gomillion, 85, a retired housemother, died Saturday, July 18, 1998, at a local hospital.

    Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Brown, Owens & Brumley Funeral Directors.

    Burial: Crestview Memorial Park in Wichita Falls.

    Visitation: The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

    Edna Faye Gomillion was born June 6, 1913, in Miles. She resided at Shady Oaks Manor and was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth.

    Mrs. Gomillion was preceded in death by her husband, Davis Gomillion Sr., in 1962.

    Survivors: Son, Wallace Gomillion of Houston; daughter, Barbara Byrom of Fort Worth; brother, Kenneth Boman of Dallas; sisters, Nina Martin of Norman, Okla., and Thelma Bolles of Denver, Colo.; grandchildren, Monte Gomillion of Woodstock, Ga., Kevin Gomillion of Austin, Leroy Byrom Jr. of Altamonte Springs, Fla., and Laura Caskey of Austin; and four great-grandchildren.
