BYROM-Preston W. Byrom Jr., age 21, of Route 1, Box 202A, Civolo, Texas passed away November 30, 1974 in a local hospital. A native of San Antionio he was a member of the First Baptist Church in Schertz, Texas and he wa a Petty Officer Second Class in the U.S. Navy. Survivors: parents; Mr. and Mrs. Preston W. Byrom, brothers; Douglas Edward Byrom and Kerry Frank Byrom, sister; Mrs. Darleen Hart all of Cibolo, Texas, grandmothers; Libby Byrom of Lavernia, Texas and Mrs. Neva Grasham, of Cibolo, Texas, numerous aunts and ucles and a host of friends. Funeral services 3:00 pm Wednesday, Southside Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby J. Walker officiating. Internment at Bexar Cemetery, Somerset, Texas with full military honors. Remains will lie in state at Southside Funeral Home from 10:00 am Tuesday until service time.
