TYNER - Mr. Jacob Cameron Boyce, 87, of the 900 block of Sandy Ridge Road, died Sunday, May 16, 1999 in his home. A native of Chowan County, Mr. Boyce was the husband of Kate Leary Boyce whom he shared 64 years of marriage. He was a son of the late Beulah Hollowell and James Norfleet Boyce. Mr. Boyce was a retired rural mail carrier and farmer. He was a member of the Center Hill Baptist Church where he had served as the church treasurer for 48 years. He was a member of the

Surviving other than his wife are his two sons, Jake Boyce of Tyner, NC and Rob Boyce of Edenton, NC; two sisters, Hilda Parker of Sunbu- ry, NC and Myra Charlton of Golds- boro, NC; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Center Hill Baptist Church by the Rev. Don English. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery in Tyner. The fam- ily will be receiving friends at the residence. Memorials may be made to the Center Hill Baptist Church, Sandy Ridge Road, Tyner, NC 27980.

A native of Chowan County, Mr. Boyce was the husband of Kate Leary Boyce, with whom he shared 64 years of marriage. He was the son of the late Beulah Hollowell and James Norfleet Boyce. Surviving other than his wife are his two sons, Jake Boyce of Tyner and Rob Boyce of Edenton; two sisters, Hilda Parker of Sunbury and Myra Charlton of Goldsboro; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
