      Solomon son of Joseph and Betsy Johnson was born in the state of New York Ontario County in 1825.
      He was married to Eliza Jane Thomspon, daughter of Medad Haber? Thompson on the jagest? River in government territory in 1845. They went to the west part of Iowa and settled at Gallen's grave and was respected as a good citizen and farmer. Where died and was buried leaving a widow and three children namely: Willson Overton Hancock, Malvina Hancock, Solomon Hancock.
      Eliza Jane Thompson Hancock then went to the State of Michigan with her father and mother and there married a man by the name of Lewis? Jebo? a Frenchman. They had two sons namely: Charles Jebo, Edgar Jeby, they became sailors.
      Wilson Overton, son of Solomon and Eliza Jane Thompson Hancock, was born in the state of Iowa at Gallon's Grave and after the death of his father was moved the the state of Michigan where he was raised and married to a woman by the name of Liza. at Beaver Island Michigan, Charileeat? town & county.
      They had two children their names were Wilson and Burgey?
      Malvina Hancock, daughter of Solomon and Eliza Jane Thompson Hancock married a man of Archey Maneal. They had four children in the town Charlinoox? state of Michigan. Namely: Archey Maneal, Twins Katy and Many Maneal, and Arenia Maneal.
      Solomon son of Solomon and Eliza Jane Thompson was married to a woman by the name of Nettie Wiscomb in the state of Michigan town of Charlevoux, They had one son, Called Solomon Hancock, only two days old when his father was drowned by ship wreck on Lake Michigan about the 4th of Sept 1881.
      Wilson Overton Hancock and Solomon Hancock sons of Solomon and Eliza Jane Thompson Hancock were drowned by shipwreck on the 4th of Sept 1881. On the lake Michigan while attempting to cross the lake with a load of apples. Solomon's body was found, and Wilson's was not for three weeks. Their bodies were well cared for and interd by the Odd Fellows with due respect, in the town of Charlevooz and county of Charlovoox state of Michigan.

She was the daughter of the late Medad Thompson, who came here before Mormon times. Her husband Louis Gebo was one of the victims of the Vernon disaster several years ago. Deceased was the mother of Mrs. Archie McNeill of this place."

H., a daughter of Randall Wheeler from New Hampshire and Experience Alden. Mrs. Rudd had three children by her first husband, William, Eliza and Pheobe [sic] Hobart. Eliza Thompson [sic, s/b Eliza Hobart] married a Mr. Hartshorn in Illinois. Pheobe [sic] married Medad Thompson in Iowa and moved to Charlevoix, Michigan. Her daughter Eliza Jane Thompson married (1) Solomon Hancock in Iowa and (2) in Charlevoix, a Mr. Gebo, a sailor (drowned on the lake). Mrs. Rudd married 1833, Joseph Hancock, a Mormon Elder at Kirtland, Ohio, and moved to Mo., in 1836, then to Iowa in 1850, and died of old age in Ogden, Utah. She was [sic, s/b had] a daughter of Amy Hancock.
      Mr. Rudd died in Liberty, Clay Co., Mo., about 1836.
      Randall Wheeler married Experience Alden in 1737."
