    Christian Kropf (1736-1802). Farmer and lease-manager. Bef. 1766 m. Elisabeth Goldschmidt (d. aft. 1811). Lived near Bernardswiller, Bas-Rhin, in 1767, in Hattstatt, Haut-Rhin, 1n 1776, in Rouffach, Haut-Rhin, in 1778, and, in the spring of 1779, together with his wife, leased the Gollweilerhof outlying Epfig, Bas-Rhin. He d. there on 25 Brumaire XI or Nov. 16, 1802. Later fate of Elisabeth Goldschmidt unknown, except that she was still alive in 1811. Eight children known.
