The Will of John D. Romeyn of New Barbadoes, Bergen County, New Jersey dated the 19th March 1853 and Proved on the 16th April 1859, mentions wife Sarah, daughter Rachel wife of James Brinkerhoff and their children. Daniel R. Brinkerhoff Executor Henry I. and John Romeyn. Daughter Margaret Oldis deceased and her children: John Romeyn Oldis Executor and Garret G. Oldis. Grandaughter Sarah Brinkerhoff, granddaughter Ann MAria wife of Richard Terhune.
