"Springer and related family genealogical collection," Florence Springer Davenport; Includes Springer, Evans, Iliff, Axline, Nichols, King, Reece, Ijams, Davenport, Duvall, Swarts, and related families. Charles (Carl) Christopher Springer (1658-1738) was born in Stockholm, Sweden, son of Christopher and Beata Sallina Springer. He was kidnapped and sent to Virginia and later married Maria Hincricsdotter in Wilmington, Delaware. Thomas Ijams moved to Fairfield County, Ohio from Maryland ca. 1790 to 1800. Lewis and Sarah Wheeler Duvall lived in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Sarah later moved to Ross County, Ohio, ca. 1806. Thomas Nichols (1765-1835) married Martha Carter (1777-1822) in Virginia. They later moved to Ohio. Family members lived in California, New York, Ohio, Delaware, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Maryland, Iowa, Colorado, and elsewhere.
