Richard H. MCCOY, 89, formerly of Huntingdon, died Sept. 15, 2004, at Perry Village in New Bloomfield.

Born Feb. 2, 1915, in Altoona, he was the son of the late Charles L. and Verna (Claybaugh) McCoy.

He was united in marriage Aug. 25, 1936, to Hazel Corbin in Newton Hamilton by the Rev. O.B. Paulson. Mrs. McCoy preceded him in death June 8, 2003.

One son, R. Steven McCoy, of Mechanicsburg, survives, along with four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Mr. McCoy was a member of the 15th Street United Methodist Church in Huntingdon.

He graduated with honors from Huntingdon High School with the Class of 1933. He was employed as a superintendent with Prismo in Huntingdon for 15 years, then in the automotive department at Miller's in Huntingdon, retiring in 1975 with 20 years of service.

Graveside services will be held Sept. 24, in Riverview Cemetery, Huntingdon, with the Rev. Fred E. Hickok officiating.
