FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. - Edward W. Schwartz, 50, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, Dec. 8, 2005, at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.

Born June 11, 1955, he was the son of Doris J. Reeder Schwartz of Chambersburg, Pa., and the late Walter A. Schwartz Jr.

He was a self-employed auto mechanic.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Karen Clark Schwartz; one daughter, Chessie L. Clark of Fayetteville; one son, Trevor A. Schwartz of Chambersburg; three brothers, Thomas W. Schwartz, Terry R. Schwartz and Gary E. Schwartz; and three granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by one brother, William J. Schwartz.

Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg. The Rev. Lonnie Shover will officiate. Burial will follow in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.

There will be no viewing; however, the family will receive friends Monday from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to his wife, Karen C. Schwartz, at 5062 Wright Road, Fayetteville, PA 17222.

Edward W. Schwartz, 50, of Fayetteville, Pa., died on Thursday, December 8, 2005 in the University of Md. Medical Center, Baltimore. Born on June 11, 1955, he was a son of the late Walter A. "Jake" Schwartz Jr., and Doris J. Reeder Schwartz of Chambersburg.

Ed was a self-employed auto mechanic. He enjoyed hunting and drag racing. Aside from his mother, he is survived by his wife, Karen Clark Schwartz; one son, Trevor A. Schwartz of Chambersburg; one daughter, Chessie L. Clark of Fayetteville; three brothers: Thomas W., Terry R., and Gary E. Schwartz; and three granddaughters: Jamie and Trista Schwartz and Kodie Clark. Aside from his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, William J. "Bill" Schwartz.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 2005 in the chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Lonnie Shover will officiate. Interment will follow in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. There will be no viewing, however the family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to his wife, Karen at 5062 Wright Road, Fayetteville, PA 17222.
