David L. Gregory

BIG COVE TANNERY, Pennsylvania, USA - David Lynn Gregory, 9 5, of Big
Cove Tannery, died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999, at Fulton
County Medical Center in McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania, USA

Born Oct. 18, 1903, in Thompson Township, Pennsylvani a, he was the
son of the late David and Rhoda Pittman Gregory.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Estalene M. Wink
Gregory, in 1989.

He retired as a salesman for Hoffman Chevrolet in Hanco ck; He
farmed in Big Cove Tannery.

He was a member of Damascus Christian Church in Big Cov e
Tannery.

He was a member of Elks Lodge of Bedford, Pennsylvani a; and
Warfordsburg Lions Club.

He is survived by three nieces and four nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Zimmerm an and
Hattie Fisher; three brothers, Thomas Gregory, Blair Gr egory
and Harvey Gregory; and a nephew.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Damascus Christ ian
Church. The Rev. Loy Garber will officiate. Burial wi ll be in
Damascus Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p. m. at Grove
Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St., Hancock; and Saturd ay at 10
a.m. at the church. The funeral home will be open Frid ay from
noon.

The family requests the omission of flowers. Memorial d onations
may be made to Damascus Cemetery Association, P.O. Box
374, Hancock, MD 21750.
