  • ID: I00149
  • Name: Jane RUDDICK 1 2
  • Sex: F
  • Birth: 1613 in Shaftesbury, Wiltshire, England
  • Death: 15 JUL 1666 in Sudbury, Middlesex, MA 3
  • Death: AFT 1667 4
  • Event: Bullet 1638 IMMIGRANT on "Confidence"
  • Note:
Probably married in England, not in Massachusetts, since Thomas & Jane Goodenow are shown in 1638 as passengers on the "Confidence" with two children, Thomas & Ursula. New England Marriages may have been referring to the birth of the 1st child born in America when stating Marlborough/Sudbury.

    ----------------

New England marriages states that Jane outlived Thomas, who died 29 Sep 1666, and married 1667 William Buttrick. Sudbury Archives states that Jane outlived Thomas, but Jane died 15 Jul 1666; therefore she couldn't have married William in 1667 and Thomas must have died earlier. Don't know who is correct?
