In the year 1789 Martin Jauch should have owned a house in the Kornbind in Schwenningen. According to an entry in the Tuttlingen town hall?, Christian Rapp got the permission to build a house. This house was situated on the Kornbind, beside "Martin Jauch tailors house". Probably Martin Jauch had built this house in 1787, because in this year Martin had added a "new built house" to his fire-insurance policy: "Martin Jauch, tailor,on the Neckar-River, 400 f." (f = Gulden) Nowadays the house has the address Werastraße 16.

We see the house again in 1821. The house has the No. 174. In the year 1838 the son Martin Jauch (born 18. Dec. 1778) was the owner.
