    Allen and Harriet ____. Mary d. at Lorain, Lorain Co, Ohio, on 27 Apr 1914.
    She and Orlando are buried at Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg, ON. They
    were the parents of (possibly) 8 children. My records on the children are
    not complete, and I have some knotty questions to answer regarding who is
    who.

    MRS. M. ALLEN PASSES AWAY
    After an illness from a complication of diseases which extended over a long period of time, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Allen, 68 years old, died at her home, 1227 West Erie avenue this morning. She was a widow and had made her home in Lorain for a number of years.
    Two children survive; they are Mrs. W. N. Little and Orlando Allen, both of Lorain.
    Short funeral services will be held from the home early tomorrow morning and the body will be taken to Wallaceburg, Ontario, Canada, for burial.

    On Monday at 6:30 a.m., the death of Mrs. Mary Elizabeth (O'Dell) Allan, relict of the late Orlando Allan, occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. N. Little, Loraine, Ohio, at the age of 69 years. Deceased had been in poor health for a number of years, and became within the past year totally blind. Her husband, a well known business man of Wallaceburg, died here about eight years ago, and six years ago Mrs. Allan left Wallaceburg and resided with her daughter, Mrs. W. N. Little, Lorain.
    The remains were brought to Wallaceburg on Tuesday evening, and the funeral was held from the residence of Mr. Ab. Mickle on Wednesday afternoon, and interment took place in the family burial plot in Wallaceburg cemetery.
    Deceased was born near Brantford in the county of Brant, and came to Wallaceburg from Springfield, Ont. She resided here 30 years, and was a faithful member of the Methodist church. Two sons and three daughters mourn her loss: Edg of Harrison, Idaho; and Orlando, of Loran, O., Mrs. W. N. Little, Lorain, O., Mrs. J. D. Taylor, of Toronto, and Miss Pauline, of Lorain.
    Those who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Little, Mrs. J. D. Taylor, Pauline, and Orlando.

    MRS. ALLEN CALLED AFTER LONG ILLNESS
    Mrs. Mary E. Allen, aged 68, died at 6:30 o¹clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. N. Little, 1227 West Erie av., after a long illness due to a complication of diseases. She had been an invalid for the past nine years.
    Mrs. Allen was born near Branford, Canada. She came to this city nine years ago and has since made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Little. Surviving her in addition to Mrs. Little are one other daughter, Mrs. J. D. Taylor of Toronto, Canada, and two sons, Orlando Allen of this city and Edgar A. Allen of Harrison, Idaho.
    The funeral services will be conducted tomorrow evening at 7:30 o¹clock from the Little residence by the Rev. J. R. Jacobs, pastor of the First M.E. Church. Wednesday morning relatives will leave with the body for Wallaceburg, Ont., where the interment will take place.
