Death of Rachel, widow of Benjamin Gardner, on July 1, 1802, at age 72 recorded in Abington VR (Benjamin died there May 2, 1821).

P. 250 of History of Hingham, Volume II, says Benjamin Gardner "m. Nov. 24, 1748, Rachel, dau. of Ezekiel Smith". I don't know what the source is for the "daughter of Ezekiel Smith". She is not listed as a child of Ezekiel Smith in Volume III. But her first two sons are named Ezekiel.

Rachel would be born about 1730 which fits in this 3-year gap of the recorded children of Ezekiel Smith and Dinah in History of Hingham, Volume III P. 153:
