Buried in Long Prairie Catholic cemetery. The gravesite is the first one on the right as you enter the main gate. The complete birth and death dates for both Antonia and Albert are on the grave marker (which is in German). Antonia was born May 1, 1821, and died August 23, 1896.

The death record was for "Antonio" Lamusga and had the age as 74-2-10 on 1896-08-23, so birthdate would be 1822-06-13, but the tombstone says May 1, 1821, so that was used instead.

  Mrs. Antonia Lamusga, mother of Mrs. Joe Weishalla, and Mrs. A. F. Wotzka, of this place, died here Sunday evening at the home of the latter, of old age. Besides the two daughters mentioned above she left three sons living in the county and another whose residence is not known. Her age was 77[sic] years, 2 months, and 10 days. Funeral Tuesday morning at 10 from the Catholic church.

Naturalization papers for John Kalla are on file at MHS. The declaration on 04 Nov 1884 for "Johann" Kalla gives his birthyear as 1816 (but the census implies circa 1822) and he arrived in New York in Oct 1881.

John and Ernestine apparently arrived in New York on 01 Oct 1881 aboard the "Donau" as Jan "Kald" (could be blotted ink), age 59, and wife Ernestine, age 57:

Port of departure was Bremen and their nationality was Prussian.

Ernestine d. Aug 5, 1902 and has a marker in the Catholic Cemetery in Long Prairie.

Her short obits in the two newspapers (Long Prairie Leader Aug 8 1902 and Todd County Argus Aug 7 1902) said she was born in Germany, but gave nothing more specific.

John's death record, obit, or burial info have not yet been located.
