1821 Proszkow Catholic Church baptismal record #40 - born and baptized Apr 19 (LDS film #0948566). Przysiecz was part of Prussia (German Poland) back then and was called Preschetz.

On Aug 14, 1872, Albert, Antonia, and their 6 children arrived at Baltimore, MD, on the ship SS Baltimore of Bremen. They are passengers # 72-80 on the passenger list and the spelling of La_usga is clear except the third letter looks like a 'b'. Son Peter is listed first, then Mariane (Peter's wife), both age 27, then Albert 51, Anton (must be Antonia his wife) 51, Pauline 24, Franz 21, Carl 16, Albertine 9 and Martin 6. All show as from Germany intending to settle in Minnesota. The next 3 entries are also from Germany to Minnesota, last name Hasalla. All males list occupation as farmer, and they traveled steerage.

Application for Naturalization in Todd county dated 12 Sep 1872. Born in Prussia in 1821, arrived at Baltimore on or about the month of August, 1872. Witnesses were Joseph Wieszalla and Peter Lamusga.

In 1875 census for Todd County, Hartford Twp., "Albert Lamusga", age 56; wife Antona, age 56; Frank, age 22; Charles, age 18; Constantina, age 13; Martin, age 9. Peter, age 30, and his wife Mary, age 30, were on the same page in the census, as was the family of "Anton Weshalla".

Buried in Long Prairie Catholic cemetery. The gravesite is the first one on the right as you enter the main gate. The complete birth and death dates for both Antonia and Albert are on the grave marker (which is in German). Albert was born April 18, 1821, and died June 12, 1889.

The death record was for "Linndska, Albert" and was for July 12, 1889 (instead of June 12, 1889, which was on the grave marker). The father was "Stanislus". No mother info.

    The Lamusga family is one that furnished many residents in the Browerville community. Mr. Lamusga, the elder, was born in German Poland, but we cannot supply the date of his birth. He married Antonia Kalla and twelve children were born to them, but six of the twelve died in Poland before the family came to America. So far as we can learn, the children were named as follows: Caroline, Tekla, Frances, John, and two that died in infancy; and of those living, Peter, who married first Mary Morcinczyk, and second, Frances Berczyk; Pauline, who married Joseph Wieshalla; Charles, who married first, Frances Gonsoir, and second Mrs. Tille Schuman; Constantina, who married Alexander Wotzka; Martin, who moved to Akeley, and Frank, who died in the town of Hartford. We do not have the date of the death of Albert Lamusga.
