[end translation]
Charles was a retired non-commissioned officer in the Dutch military (army?).
He is buried in the Catholic Cemetery in Zwolle in a class 3 grave (range 1-5 1 = most expensive), grave number 372, for Dfl. 7.30.
The records in Zwolle showed that on August 1, 1890, Charles moved from Wijhe to Zwolle to live with his daughter, Anna Maria Hubertine de France and her husband, Anton Albertus Felix Simonius Togni. Togni is a well-known name in Zwolle to this day.
His first name, Jean, was never present in any records, so it must be his baptismal name?
