Note: 1800 Census for Boscawen, Hillsboro Co., NH lists Samuel Flanders (age 26-44), his wife (age 16-25), and two female children under age 10.
1810 Census for Vershire, Orange Co., VT, lists Samuel Flanders (age 26-44), his wife (age 26-44) and four daughters under 10.
In 1815, Hannah Flanders, of Vershire, married Jeremiah Danforth at Lebanon, NH, so Samuel must have died before then.
1820 AIS and 1820 Vershire census do not have a Samuel or Hannah Flanders.
On 12 Jun 1825, Emily Flanders married Perkins(?) Johnson in Vershire. Daughter of Samuel?
On 09 Dec 1830, Loretta Flanders married Perkins Johnson in Vershire. Same guy? Another daughter of Samuel? In 1850 census for Vershire, Perkins (age 46, b. N.H.) and Loretta (age 39, b. N.H.) were living with 4 male children under the age of 20, and 2 males age 22 and 24 (possible children of Perkins and Emily?). So Loretta was born about 1810-11, but place of birth is wrong. 1860 census for Vershire has Perkins and Loretta (age 50, b. N.H.).
