Gladys Maghan
dies at 82
Mrs. Amos J. (Gladys) Maghan, a lifetime area resident, died Friday at the Bethany Good Samaritan Home.
Born in Crow Wing April 14, 1901, she was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church and a charter member of the Grey Ladies of St. Joseph's Medical Center.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. William (Pat) Van Essen of Brainerd and Mrs. D.E. (Dorothy) Geist of LIttleton, Colo.; one son, Robert, of Fort Worth, Texas, 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services are 1:30 p.m. at the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home with Father Lloyd Mudrak officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home from 3 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. Monday until the time of the services. A parish prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
