The church in Weitenung wasn't built until 1927, so residents of Weitungen used the church at Steinbach.

    The above information is courtesy of Earl Ebach, Midland Michigan. Earl is descended through Egidius' son, Anthony, b. 1812. Earl and his wife visited the Huegelsheim area in 1998 and with the help of a German friend obtained copies or transcriptions of relevant records from churches in the area. All information on the German ancestors in the Ibach line was provided by Earl in 2006.

    Sadly, Earl passed away 15 Apr 2008 at age 79.
