Grave marker in the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church cemetery in/near Ruth, Michigan says "Anthony Ibach / Born Nov. 1, 1813 / Died Mar. 6, 1886".
Obituary in Huron Tribune on Friday March 12, 1886 said he was thrown from a load of hay (breaking his spine) on the previous Friday and died that Saturday.
Birth, death, and obituary information is courtesy of Earl Ebach, Midland Michigan. Earl is descended through Anthony's son, Anthony Frank Ebach, b. 1841, and grandson Nicholas John Ebach, b. 1881. He and his wife visited the Huegelsheim area in 1998 and with the help of a German friend obtained copies or transcriptions of relevant records from churches in the area.
