  • Note: Bill died from pulmonary edema (lungs filled with fluid) caused by kidney failure caused by toxins being flushed from his legs when circulation was restored with a bypass after a clot had formed in his lower abdominal aorta curring off circulation to his lower extremities during heart surgery to repair a dissecting aortal aneurysm. The surgery was a success but the patient died.
