    Cyril H. Bilskie, 73, formerly of Bruceville, IN, passed away Saturday October 20, 2007 at 10:14 am at the Scottsburg Healthcare. He was born September 9, 1934 in Knox County the son of Vincent Sr. and Jane A. Summers Bilskie. He worked at the Vincennes Paper Mill until it closed and remained a farmer all of his life. He attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He is survived by his children, Marilyn Gregory of Washington, IN, Becky Shappard of Gainesville, GA, Wayne Bilskie of Evansville, IN and John Bilskie of Bunker Hill, IN. He was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Two brothers, Ralph Bilskie of Bruceville, IN and Jim Bilskie of Indianapolis, IN. and a sister, Virginia Evans of Vincennes, IN also survive. His parents, 4 brothers and 1 sister preceded him in death. Funeral Services will be celebrated Thursday October 25, 2007 at 2:00 pm at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home. Fr. David Fleck will celebrate the services. He will be laid to rest in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Alzheimers department at Crestview Nursing Home.

    BRUCEVILLE - Cyril H. Bilskie, 73, died Oct. 20, 2007, at Scottsburg Healthcare. He was a farmer and had worked at the Vincennes Paper Mill. Surviving are daughters, Marilyn Gregory and Becky Shappard; sons, Wayne and John; sister, Virginia Evans; brothers, Ralph and Jim; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Services 2 p.m. Thursday at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home in Vincennes, burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.
